Inspired by my grandparents' white porch swing—hand-built by my grandpa and uncles and resting against the blue siding of their Southern home—this piece celebrates the places that quietly shape our lives. It was where I bottle-fed my first baby goat, listened to family stories, laughed through countless evenings, sang songs together, and even experienced my first heartbreak.
